Water heater replacement is a highly qualified process provided to homeowners. The service requires experienced plumber skills including working with and modifying water lines (pipes), gas lines, electrical connections (in some cases), exhaust gases vent elements (vent pipes), chimney and house walls integration. Water heater replacement and installation should be done only by experienced and qualified plumbers.
What is a tankless water heater?
Tankless water heaters do not have a hot water tank in their configuration. They heat water on demand as the occupants of the house turn on faucets and showers or other appliances that use hot water. The biggest advantages of tankless water heaters are that the house never runs out of hot water, as water gets heated on demand, when it is needed. Regular water heaters that use a tank, may sometimes run out of hot water and the house occupants may need to wait till water is heated and accumulated in the hot water tank. Tankless water heaters use the energy source many regular water heaters use – natural gas that is supplied through the gas lines in the house.
